International and Union law challenges of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict (HU)
The Centre for European Studies, in cooperation with the Institute for Legal Studies (HUN-REN CSC), organized a workshop titled “Az orosz-ukrán konfliktus nemzetközi és európai jogi kihívásai” [‘International and Union law challenges of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict’] on 19 September 2023, analysing various public and private international law and Union law aspects of the war. AWARD OF ’EU BUSINESS LAW MODULE’ CERTIFICATES 2021/2022
The Centre for European Studies awarded certificates for ten students who completed the ’EU Business Law Module’ in course of the academic year 2021/2022. The documents were handed over by Balázs Horváthy, Head of CES and László Knapp, member of CES on 28 September 2022.
“Europe and Identities”
The Centre for European Studies hosted the event “Europe and Identities” on 14 September 2022, where visiting lecturers from the Department of International Relations and European Studies, Faculty of History, International Relations, Political Sciences and Science of Communication, University of Oradea (Romania) presented their research results. Professor Mircea Brie compared the identity revolution and European integration prospects in the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova, while István Polgár PhD analysed the question of identity and new forms of borders in the European social space with special regard to the management of socio-economic transformations. The presentations were followed by discussion.
